Tea Time

Don't you guys getting bored with those overwhelming bubble tea outlets that keeps popping out from out of nowhere? For me, it is one never ending battles between the pleasure and the guilt. Spoiled by those sweet, refreshing, yet addictive in some kind of ways cup of tea is surely delightful before that guilt attacks you all over afterwards. But, what about if cup of bubble teas accompanied by delicious Taiwanese snacks? Can't you resist it? Me, myself just lost to them completely. Belly rules the mind, it's a matter of being pleased or pissed.

Fresh'n Your Day at BeetBeetle

Muara Karang is like a sacred place for Chinese peoples who loves to eat non-halal foods ( contain pork ) But, it is lack of hangout places like PIK, the haven of goodness which is located just a few km from it. So, here's BeetBeetle appeared as a rejuvenation for young peoples who lives nearby to enjoy Taiwanese snacks, Oriental-Western foods, or even grab a glass of beer. It is one teenage restaurant with cheerful concept. As i stepped inside, it was a minimalist not to mention fresh looking restaurant with homey ambiance.

Welcome Gong Cha at Central Park

As a fan of bubble tea, I was very excited when i heard its finally opened their very first store at Jakarta, specifically located at Central Park face-to-face with Come Buy and just beside everyone's favorite Sushi Tei ( at least not for me ). Recalling my very first time had this drink at Singapore, and it was quite satisfying. So there i was, queued patiently and got my cup of Yoghurt Green Tea (23k ) and Black Milk Tea ( 18k ) including additional topping which cost 3k/topping.

Random Eats

What crossed your mind if i say Carefour? a huge one-stop grocery store? yes, with an additional food stores at the inner part of Central Park's ( and any others ) Carefours. i ordered the very standard fried rice, Egg fried rice without chicken which cost 10k/plate. I wasn't hoping much, even just a speck of it. But,it turned out it was quite good for a mere 10k. Well-seasoned and quite savory. No chicken, but lack of those biting sensations.
